The Use Search Engines

    Search engines are website on the internet from which answer to specific query are gotten or a search engine is an information retrieval system designed to help find information stored on a computer system or internet. Usually search engines are mostly website, they make provisoin for inputing (typing in)  queries and give you answers in list form
    In other to make the best out of search engines you have to be able to input your queries very well and acurately. Also search engines provide an interface to a group of items that enables users to specify criteria about an item of interest and have the engine find the matching items. The criteria are referred to as a search query. In the case of text search engines, the search query is typically expressed as a set of words that identify the desired concept that one or more documents may contain. There are several styles of search query syntax that vary in strictness. It can also switch names within the search engines from previous sites. Whereas some text search engines require users to enter two or three words separated by white space, other search engines may enable users to specify entire documents, pictures, sounds, and various forms of natural language. Some search engines apply improvements to search queries to increase the likelihood of providing a quality set of items through a process known as query expansion.
   The most popular one of these search engine is google.com, you can input a full statement and you we will still get the required answer though may not be specific. But there style with which you can input your queries and get a better and more specific answer to your queries. First you must know thatin other to provide a set of matching items that are sorted according to some criteria quickly, a search engine will typically collect metadata about the group of items under consideration beforehand through a process referred to as indexing. The index typically requires a smaller amount of computer storage, which is why some search engines only store the indexed information and not the full content of each item, and instead provide a method of navigating to the items in the search engine result page. Alternatively, the search engine may store a copy of each item in a cache so that users can see the state of the item at the time it was indexed or for archive purposes or to make repetitive processes work more efficiently and quickly.
    Answers to your queries are given in list for you to navigate through. Usually, you are taken to a different web page to which you will get your answers. Now for you to get specific answers to your queries u should input your queries efficiently by typing in key words only and not the entire statement for example  " do a research on how doctors carry out surgery of appendicitis"   just type into the search bar "doctors+appendicitis surgery" you will see more and better option than if you had used the first statement take note of the plus sign and the spacing. There was no space between the + and the other part of d statement. You can use more than one +, the number of + to be used is determined by the number of key word in the statement. This method is also okay for youtube that is you can use this method in youtube.
           So for those who are working on project work or experiment report, just try and know the key words used then input your + sign. for experiment watch the experimental procedure first then use google to prepare your report
